Through several acquisitions, first in Germany and from 1989 onwards all over Europe, the company quickly grew. Today, Südzucker AG is the largest sugar producer in Europe with an annual production of around 4.8 million tons and a workforce of 18.500 people. It has 30 sugar factories and 3 refineries in Austria, Belgium, Czech Rep., France, Germany, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Note the high face value of 1 million Reichsmarks. Only 3 pieces known: one is in a company archive, another one in firm collector hands so this is the only available certificate. Rarity 10.
