Description: Persian manuscript on paper, 7 leaves, 7 lines to the page, written in nasta'liq script in black ink, catchwords, text on f.1b and f.3a written within cloud bands against a gold ground filled with floral vines, the other pages on pale blue sprinkled with gold, outer margins flecked with gold throughout, opening illuminated headpiece composed of interlacing split-palmettes, reddish-brown morocco binding with central gilt-stamped lobed cartouche filled with scrolling flowers, with gilt borders
In generally good overall condition, some wear to binding with associated repair, water stains to outer margins and minor smudges, illumination bright and ink bold, as viewed.
