Description: Proof vignette of 2 large buildings used on the $50, 1909, P-A78A, Banknote. The note is only known as Specimen or Proof and catalogs for $24,000. This portrait was used on the face of the note. Printed in black on india paper, 3 x 3.5 inches, with ornate oval border, imprint on bottom states ÒThe Ta-ChÕing Government Bank - Special - C- 1133 - American Bank Note. Co., N.Y.Ó, Uncirculated to CU condition. Extremely rare production proof from ABN Archives. ABNC.
All items will be fully insured if shipped by the following methods:
For items of a value up to $1000 usd and no more then 7 ounces in weight and shipped to a U.S. address - your items will be shipped by USPS Certified or First Class with Tracking for $8 to $20 depending on size and value;
For items of a value over $1000 usd and shipped to a U.S. address - your items will be shipped by either USPS Certified, USPS Registered, USPS Express or FedEx with charges depending on value and weight beginning at $16. Please contact us for a quote for higher value and heavier items.
For items shipped to a foreign address including Canada, Mexico and overseas - USPS Registered Mail will be utilized with charges beginning at $18 depending on value and weight. FedEx shipment will require additional charges if this method is chosen; Delivery to Italy will be sent by FedEx only due to problems with theft. Charges to Italy by FedEx will begin at $52.
A full refund will be provided for lost items if the courier can confirm that they were not delivered
Shipping choices at the discretion of Archives International Auctions unless prior arrangements are agreed upon.
In no case, unless previous arrangements have been made, will we wait longer then 30 days after the auction date. At that time we will void the sale and suspend you from bidding in our future auctions.
