Description: THANGKA OF AVALOKITESHVARA CHATURBHUJA
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
distemper on cloth, the four-armed bodhisattva shown seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base, his frontal hands folded in anjalimudra in front of his chest, his rear hands holding the lotus and mala, flanked by Manibhadra at left and Shadakshari at right
55cm high, 40cm wide (sight)

Condition Report: Good overall appearance. Some crazing/cracking and minor loss and/or overpainting in places due to piece having been rolled. Fabric is a little worn in places and faded.
