Book Details: From the "Advertisement" section: "The following sheets contain an exact copy of the constitution, or form of civil government, as adopted by the towns of Windsor, Hartford and Wethersfield, and the Code of 1650, as confirmed by the General Court of Connecticut."
Condition / Notes: This antique volume is lacking a front board. The rear board and spine are leather, with faded gilt lettering and ruling to the spine. The exterior displays significant rubbing and faint soiling. An armorial bookplate reading "Bibliotheque Schorsch" appears on the rear paste-down, and the endpapers show foxing and faint moisture markings. The interior appears clean and bright, illustrated with a frontispiece plate captioned "The Constable seizing a tobacco taker."
