Description: Artist: EUGENE OGÉ (1869-1936) Size: 31 1/2 x 46 7/8 in./80 x 119 cm Imp. Charles Verneau, Paris With records dating back as early as 1760, the Lombart company started as a chocolate importer, gradually expanding into tea as well. This notably vivid design depicts a Japanese woman gingerly shutting a box of the product, implying that the tea is indeed directly imported to France from its source. (tea)
