decorated in iron red and gilt and with putti and scroll border; one plate bearing dealer labels for Hare & Coolidge, Ogunquit ME and New York; diameter: 10 3/4 in. and 8 1/2 in.

Provenance: Property of a Boston Family

Literature: A similar plate in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, collection is illustrated and discussed in, Claire Le Corbeiller, China Trade Porcelain: Patterns of Exchange, Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1974, figure 32
