Description: Silver and root wood. Tibet, around 19th cent.

The tea-colored wood with its grain determines the character, the term "root wood" is more general. The interior of the bowl towards the mouth is encased in silver. Similarly the foot, while however decoratively embossed. The lowest rand is ribbed, relief with closely-lined floral motif. Traces of use, patina.
HEIGHT TO 4,8 CM, DM 10 CM
