Description: Reflexed limbs of horn, wood and sinew layers laid in glue, reinforced with windings, one limb with three continuous iron rivets and a small iron plate on the back to repair the horn insert, the string nocks broken off, all surfaces lacquered in red and embellished with yellow geometric shapes and floral ornaments, the recessed grip wrapped with sinew laid in glue. Includes a shorter bow of similar type with a contemporary wooden grip reinforcement attached to the back. Damaged, signs of age. The spans measure 139 and 131 cm. Roughly fashioned bows, probably influenced by Indian models. Karl Zeilinger Collection.
