Description: Pair of carved bamboo panels from the late 19th - early 20th century. These panels were carved as a tribute to Dong Qichang (1555–1636). The characters are carved and painted black. There are two seal marks on one of the panels. Each panel is fitted with a brass hanger at the top. Dimensions are 43 1/4 inches long by 4 7/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
