Description: Solid pickaxe, the oak wood haft with straps extending from top to bottom and robust rings for reinforcement. Flange in the form of a mokko tsuba. The lower end worked as a crowbar. With another, lighter pickaxe, the haft made from a shortened yari pole with aogai. Traditional firefighter gear for tearing down burning roof trusses and buildings. Length 66 and 70 cm.
