Description: Two match reports compiled by the Leeds United assistant-manager Les Cocker, the first in manuscript for Leeds 1-0 victory at Manchester City on Boxing Day 1975, Cocker critiques a selection of opposition and his own team's players, Watson "not very impressive, again!", Tueart "the outstanding attacking player in this match", Cherry "did a great job on Royle", Clarke "very disappointing and easily conceded possession" etc.; the other typescript after he had been assigned to watch the Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur game 4th September 1976, where he critiques a selection of players, Greenhoff "Brian will never be good in the air ... his asset to United was his general reading of play and situations", Pearson "Like Coppell-magnificent in the first half-faded alarmingly in the second half", Hoddle "Showed a lot of craft and ability in getting attacks going ... half-hearted confronting opposition players, without menace of intent" etc.
