More About this Item

Description: **UNIQUE FILM PROP FROM JAMES CAMERON'S TITANIC: This standee train car prop was used in the miniature set that introduced Leonardo DiCaprio. The shot begins with the camera panning across the miniature set then the camera pulls back to reveal DiCaprio entering the pub. This prop was created by Academy Award winner Robert Skotak who also added some hand-painted accents to the car. Skotak's brother, Academy Award winner Dennis Skotak, filmed the scene. This is not a reproduction or a behind-the-scenes item but the actual production used screen scene prop that appears in the film. The lot is accompanied by a letter of provenance from a member of the production crew and three 5ins. x 7ins. photographs of the train, including this car, on the set. Car with stand measures approx. 5ins. x 8ins.
