Description: The courtesan Nioteru from the house of Ogi-ya. Original color woodblock print, published around 1820´s. Signed: Kasentei Tominobu ga. Publisher: Tsutaya Kichizo. Censor seal: Kiwame.
Very little is known about this woodblock master, in part contradicting information. He is mostly found under the name of Kunitomi. His rather unusual and wonderful colored works are exclusively devoted to female beauty (Bijin) and actors of Kabuki.
