Description: This Warring States Period (BC 475-221) set of bronze bell is a very important musical instrument because such exquisite bronze bells with exact musical notes are very rare in Chinese musical history. This set was probably belonging to one of the Emperors of the Warring States. Most of the bells have inscriptions of the body. More research is needed to reveal the meaning of these inscriptions.
Dimensions: H (largest bell) 10 1/4 in., H (smallest bell) 5 in., overall height of the bell stand: 34 1/2 in., Length of long bell hanging rod: 40 3/4 in.. Length of short bell hanging rod: 25 3/4 in.
