Book Details:
Condition / Notes: This antique volume is bound in full leather with gilt ruling and gilt lettering and decoration. The exterior displays vertical cracking to spine edges, moderate rubbing to extremities, and remnants of what appears to be adhesive on the front cover. The hinges of this volume are cracked, but the text block remains secure, adorned with gilt edges. The edges of the text block display a faint library stamp, and a bookplate and remnants of an attachment appear on the endpapers. The interior is clean and bright, illustrated with head- and tailpieces, historiated initials, and three well-preserved fold-out astronomical plates at the rear.
