He is best known for his natural theology exposition of the teleological argument for the existence of God in his work "Natural Theology or Evidences of the Existence and Attributes of the Deity," which made use of the watchmaker analogy. Condition / Notes: This is the fifth American edition of this book on ethics. The antique full-leather volume has partially-separated boards. The spine shows stamped gilt lettering/ruling and moderate chipping. There is moderate exterior rubbing and scuffing. The pages show moderate to heavy age toning and scattered moisture marking.
