This rare Willys Jeep Station Wagon in the 4x4 version is in a condition that is consistent of the car's age with respective traces of use and aging. It is recommended to have the vehicle restored where necessary, since it showed upon inspection that several parts were not in order or missing. Brakes do not work properly. Engine and front seat are not original. The original seats are included in this lot, however, new seat covers are recommended. A vehicle expertise is in existence.
In order to pass the general inspection and to obtain the H-certification for historic vehicles, it is recommended to have the car inspected and to renew where necessary. The electrics have to be adjusted to German standards.
The Willys Jeep Station Wagon was built between 1946 and 1965. In the beginning the only model available was the 463 with the well-known “Willys Go Devil“ engine L 134. In 1950 the sedan delivery car was introduced. Kaiser, the new owner, took over business in 1954 and presented the 6-226 Super-Hurricane engine.
