He is a member of the Otis family. One of the wealthiest men of Boston during his time, Otis was reportedly worth at least US$800,000 in 1846, which in 2010 would be equivalent to $22,279,724.72. Size: 5.5" x 5" glued onto a later paper. "Sir. I very readily subjoin my autograph agreeable to your request. It is written with gouty fingers which are 76 years old.
