Description: Item # 5601. A set of three silver on copper bowls. Designed and manufactured by E. F. Caldwell New York City. The style or decor reflects Greek Bacchanal themes. The larger bowl is footed with round balls and is 6.5” in diameter and is about 4” tall. The medium bowl is not footed and is 5” in diameter and is 2.65” tall. The smallest bowl is footed with three round balls and is 4” in diameter and is 2.5” tall. Each bowl is signed: “Caldwell & Co. Inc. NY” or “E.F. Caldwell & Co. New York” . The condition: copper showing through the silver on each bowl and I believe that it was meant to show through. The interior of the large bowl has considerable wear: probably used as a flower bowl. Sold as a lot of three.
