Description: This vessel is cube shaped with a fine portrait of wrinkled face or Aya-Pec - one of the most important Moche deities. He is wearing a puma head ring and seprent head ear ornaments. The beige cube represents a throne . An effigy in the Linden Museum has the same face as this and is illustrated in Moche Art of Peru fig 218. T/L tested by Kotall Labs, Stuttgart.
