Native American Bowl : Vintage Hopi polychrome Bowl #203(58 views)
Description: This piece was a gift and it comes with a note from the original owner that reads, "Bob, in 1931 I spent Some Time on the Navaho (Navajo) reservation in Heupp, Arizona. This bowl was a gift to me from one of the Navahos. Kenneth & I hope you will enjoy it Thelma 12/25/75." The piece is all hand made from the Navajo Native Americans and made using Polychrome mineral paints. Measures 2.25"x 6.75". This is actually a Hopi bowl, and not Navajo as noted by Thelma in her original note. There is a small hair line crack on the outside of the lip that does not go all the way through. This is evident near the outside lip, in the third snap on the right hand side. Other than this, overall the piece is in good condition considering its age.*
Dimensions: 2.25"x 6.75"
