Description: This vessel is painted orange on white ground with black negative resist decoration for the lord's tunic and the jaguar's dots. The jaguar's heads are turned outward instead of looking forward and have unusual decoration of orange dots on black. This particular vessel has an ancient repair to the flared spout where the spout was broken in antiquity. A similar example is in the the Berlin Ethnographic museum and illustrated in Altperuanische Kulturen Recuay IV fig. 101
Condition Report: Very good example of negative resist decoration and in good condition with an ancient repair and the lords crest has a chip.
