George Groslier was a member of the French expedition that spearheaded the preservation of the ruins, and was the head curator of the first museum at Angkor Wat. It was created for the Touring Club of France in 1911, with the itinerary of the long adventure trip printed in the medallion. It is considered one of the most beautiful travel posters ever created.
