The Point Production Cels and Matching Drawings, Ringo Starr 1971(144 views)
Description: In 1971 Harry Nilsson wrote the music for the film "The Point." The story was about a boy named Oblio, the only round-headed person in the Pointed Village, where by law everyone and everything must have a point. When discovered that in fact his head had no point he was taken in front of the judges of the two who sentenced him to the forest with his dog Arrow. This setup is unigue in that it contains the cel of Oblio, a cel of his dog Arrow and a cel of the Count. The Judges are part of the copy background. If you are a collector you know how rare cels from The Point are now. Feel free to search the internet for the cels at galleries. They are next to impossible to find. A side note of interest, the voice of the narrator was Dustin Hoffman for the first airing and it was later re-voiced by Ringo Starr. The background of the gray room, stand and judges are part of the background
